My journey into massage therapy

My inspiration to become a massage therapist began in my early twenties after experiencing an exquisite session. The profound feeling of being truly met by another human being resonated deeply. This was just before my service in the Peace Corps in the High Atlas region of Morocco, where I found immense gratitude from the women in my community for my amateur therapeutic and sisterly touch. This experience solidified a calling to study massage therapy upon my return to the states. I knew The Jay Scherer Institute of Natural Healing in Santa Fe, New Mexico was the place for me, as it was where my first impactful massage therapist had learned.

A unique approach to your well-being

My approach is distinguished by my natural gifts of nurturing and presence, continuously refined through formal education and guidance from respected teachers. I am dedicated to supporting your liberation of breath, sound, movement, and awareness. I aim to enhance your capacity to receive, profoundly and subtly, as we collaboratively craft your bodywork sessions. My in-home Somatic Sanctuary, a cozy space near Belmont and Cicero, is designed for deep rest and releasing what no longer serves you. It's truly an honor to welcome you to this sacred space.

Experience the extraordinary: WATSU aquatic bodywork

Beyond traditional massage, I am thrilled to offer WATSU aquatic bodywork at Galter LifeCenter on Sundays at 2 PM and Tuesdays at 1PM. WATSU is an otherworldly experience, almost impossible to describe in words, but one my heart and soul are eager to share. This fully accessible building at 5157 N Francisco in Chicago also hosts my clinical massage therapy sessions for 30, 60, and 90 minutes. To book a WATSU session text me at 773-454-6909 or clinical massage at Galter LifeCenter, please call (773) 878-9936 and speak with customer service.

What you can expect from your session

My deepest hope is for clients to feel seen, heard, and truly listened to, with the spaciousness to unfelt any musculoskeletal discomfort or emotional clusters. I want the people I serve to accumulate the therapeutic input of unconditional care directly experienced by their nervous system, co-creating the hardwiring of neuropathways for the sheer pleasure of being in human form. It's about consciously receiving pleasurable therapeutic touch and allowing the bodymind to build this connection.
